FOUR dull men and four strong women are at the heart of Tryst Theatre's new comedy in Behind the Wall.

The deeply boring men have joined The Dull Men's Club (it really exists: worth a Google) and get excited about traffic cones, nosehair trimmers, bananas and staplers.

Meanwhile the feisty ladies debate toxic first dates, disastrous one-night stands and the meaning of upside-down pineapples.

In Act 1 we meet them all and hear their hilarious stories. In Act 2, they meet up for speed-dating. Yin finally meets yang. What could possibly go wrong?

But do opposites attract? Will they find their soulmates or are these encounters doomed to fail? And what is the significance of the upturned pineapple? Oooh er Matron!!!

The cast is Carol Clark, Rhona McColl, Janice Frame, Rebecca Muir, Brian Paterson, David Webster, Howard Sargeant and Callum Nicol. Alan Clark directs.

Tryst's laugh-a-minute Dull Men Go Dating by Kenny Ross is on in Behind the Wall April 12-17.

It's his follow-up to "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Tickets on sale via TicketSource on Sunday March 1.
