Tryst Theatre "C" have won the Falkirk District round of the SCDA One-Act Play Festival. Their production of David Mamet's Duck Variations took the East Stirlingshire District Trophy for first place and earned director Jim Allan the Barker Quaich for production.

Tryst's other production, The Donahue Sisters by Geraldine Aron was awarded the Rose Bowl Award for scoring the highest marks in stage decor, costume and lighting.

The Margaret Miller Quaich, awarded by the adjudicator, was presented to Jim Allan for his carefully planned, effective and atmospheric lighting of both plays.

Duck Variations now goes forward to the Eastern Divisional Final in the Tait Hall, Kelso on April 3-5. Tryst Theatre "C" will perform second on the Thursday evening.
