Tryst On A Black Op To Welwyn Festival

May 30, 2007

Tryst has been invited to take part in the prestigious Welwyn Drama Festival in Welwyn Garden City, north of London. The club will stage Pugilist Specialist on the last night of the festival, Saturday June 9, in front of a sell-out audience.

The Welwyn Festival showcases the best competitive theatre in the country, with at least two plays each evening plus informed adjudication from Colin Dolley, Member of the Guild of Drama Adjudicators.

Tryst President Frank Murray said: "We're returning to Welwyn after a twelve-year gap. It will be the final performance of Pugilist Specialist and the cast is determined to go out on a high."

The planning for the 24-hour covert mission uncannily mirrors the black op in Pugilist Specialist. It's a thankless affair, a tawdry event.

We make the transition from ground to sky with a one-hour flight to London Stansted.

We rendezvous with land forces and a one-hour cross-country drive to Welwyn.

A sloppy tongue kiss of a 90-minute tech.

The performance, hopefully a well-catered, tasteful affair with a carefully considered guest-list, hand-printed invitations and expensive cake. A finished project.

The after-show party where we slip anyone who wants it the tongue. If that fails, we'll seduce their bodies, steal their breath, and bury them with their heads pointing toward Mecca.

Bed, where the target will be between silk sheets at the time of intrusion, which is why you need bedroom eyes. And of course we love silent insertion.

Back to Stansted for the flight back to Edinburgh. If necessary, we'll clip the fool, shave his moustache, and drive the f**king truck ourselves.

Are you picking up what I'm putting down here, guys? All I'm saying is: just bring your heart - that's the muscle that pulls the trigger.
